[Tutorial] HowTo change the MainLoading Screen

What do you need:

• an image-editing program with a good knowledge
• DDS Converter (

1.Open your folder with the Game
2.Go to the Path: ./texture/UI/MainLoading/
3.Convert MainLoadingBG01-MainloadingBG04
4.Add the 4 images together into one image and save it
5.Edit it according to your ideas.
6.Take out of the picture again 4 pictures (each has 512x512 pixels)
7.Save the 4 pictures, convert they into the .dds format and replacing them by the existing .dds files

For the people with the button problem, after a quick Google search it appears you aren't the only one. However there seems to be a fix which works for most people.
- Set compabality mode to Windows XP
- Run as Administrator

Good luck.

ATTENTION:

Dont edit the black Area (of the original). The most people can't see it.
Fill the area with a colour or a backround.​

Der kann auch .png format laden

(it can also load .png format)

Das hat wirklich funktioniert? Ich dachte .dds ist ein Format für sich ^^
EDIT: Nein mein PC sagt das Bild wäre beschädigt wenn ich die Endung ändere.

can you explain this to me?.i did all in your guide but after i try my loading screen its not fit on screen.i use 1024x768 screen resolution.

and i cut the images into four 512x512.The lower part of my loading screen not showing correctly.

Very good, can't wait to try it. Someone should make a tutorial on how to setup a server. I saw that theres one in the release thread, but would be nice if it had its own thread.

I've heard that this software doesn't work in Win 7
