People like OP who throw a tantrum and remove something that helped others because of their own issues are petty idiots. They could have just left RZ and kept the guide here to help the community as a whole, but they preferred people struggle and suffer.

I just did something similar.
Created a new thread Refloat: [VS22] Full Setup Guide For Ketchup Files that reuses all that info. Best thing is that the links are all inside the Archive, so they should still work. To me some of them throw errors, but I hope is a specific thin with google and my PC, otherwise the files are not found in those links.

I am not a developer, so I can't guarantee it. They should be clean files, but again they are not mine, I am just re floating the previous files so people can access them.

I have no idea. Even more, the question would be, why would anyone take the pain to make backdoors for private servers, made for fun and no commercial benefit, in personal computers of non important random people of a game that is dead.
What would be the purpose of it?
Also as a community with a shared common interest, I don't see why anyone would feed poisoned material.
You can check the original older threads, if nobody complained, they are probably fine. If something was wrong, there was enough people and time to complain about it, somebody would have noticed.

You need coding knowledge. A backdoor is just how someone has coded files to allow outside access in one way or another. This could be anything from having some ports purposefully opened that don't need to be, code that will expose the server itself if someone knows what variant of the files you're running, etc. Some people in other scenes do this, as well as code in ways that will purposefully (or not - they might just not know what they are doing) rapidly use up the write cycles of your hard drives, causing them to fail much earlier than they should.

In short, you need to know coding and need to look through the source.

Some people in some scenes are bastards and do it. MU Online seems to have had a few people over the years try to write viruses into server files; most are false positives, though.

That would be like you getting fired from your irl job and turning up for work for free. Nobody in their right mind would. You know it, i know it. I personally would not host my files, or my resources on a forum that didnt support me. Especially when hosting a volume that big isnt free. Yall crack me up in these post acting all entitled and needy. Most of the flyff developers have left this section/forum for a reason. And it shows in post like these.

There is a reason nobody has stepped up and did what he done, and it's because they cant or wont. Simple as that. You all are welcome to do your own research on what happened here. You are also welcome to upload your own projects and code. Where is everyone elses releases? huh? There's a reason ********* is all over the forum. Cause nobody else here wants to contribute back. Nobody wants to help others. Just take and take and cry when the teet has dried up.

Ketchup was demodded because he was trying to get other staff to vote in favour of him being nominated for super moderator. He conspired and acted untoward when this was rejected by the supers themselves. This is all documented. I tried to bring him back onboard but given his attitude, clearly this was the best decision long term.

Obviously he will say I am lying but I've done this for over 20 years. I have no reason to lie. It's been a trend with disgruntled ex mods trying to save face for their past actions. I would love to see the Flyff section be helpful to each other, it only takes a good few members to do so. Sadly, a lot of people are now financially motivated and paywall content.

He was only giving two options;

1. Promotion
2. Quit / Force firing

I had to make a decision and in the interest of safety, I decided demodding was the best course of action over a series of events I wanted to avoid, one of which I was unable to do anything about, that being the MASS REMOVAL of content - thankfully I was able to avoid mass thread deletion on the section. I am unsure if a lot of you remember but there was a lot of complaints due to certain actions. I don't want to drag this up because I'm aware I will always be seen as "the bad guy" in this scenario but the facts are that, facts. I do owe a lot to a certain moderator who was friends with Ketchup but was keeping me informed of his intent. A similar thing happened years ago with a moderator called Kallyanna.

Heck, I even overlooked at the time using his moderation status to earn money setting up servers privately for members;

You as members are free to join any community you feel suits your needs. The forum will remain open, content will remain open and nothing will be paywalled. The resource system now supports file hosting upwards of 500mb. If any members wish to upload and host content there to secure it indefinite, then I would urge them to do so.

You'll notice he renamed himself to "Kill yourself Dan". For public clarification, the moderation system goes through processes. Super moderators vote upon regular mods becoming super mods. I personally went about his nomination but the others voted no. See below;

First, I want to say I was 100% truthful in what I disclosed previously. I hope those returning can look back at my comments and see that I was straightforward and forthcoming. We won’t be banning random members after donations, scamming our members via Discord, or stealing their money. We also won’t be wiping the Flyff section in a fit of rage.

We are here for you, as we were 10 years ago, and as we were 20 years ago.
