Hello,
Well I am actually a web developer but I wanted to try designing a website
So I made this website and would like your opinion on it please
I know its not really good but yea im more of a developer than a designer

Here is the PSD for anyone who would be interested

I recommend NEVER using bevel as it will always look cheap and make stuff seem displaced, unless ure a wizard ;o

If I want a 3Dish effect I emulate the shadows and highlights through drop shadow and inner shadow, as well as glow. Or alternatively you can use a 3D software such as C4D, Blender or 3Dmax.

Don't be afraid of using bevel, you just have to know how to use it to make it look good.

The color scheme is a bit weird..
you have mostly dark mixed with some really bright spots
my eyes are very light sensitive and looking at the details of your screenshot for more than 5-10 seconds hurts my eyes

Just adjust the bevel a bit more and clean the edges and it'll look a lot nicer. Making the tables look glossier can also improve it as well. Other than that it looks nice. ;D

And make the text a bit more eye friendly, generally use things like Ariel so you don't have to squint to read the text And remember try not to mix to many font types otherwise it just starts getting ugly most of the time.

Here`s my opinion ..

Make Navigation more attractive and use a modern designs
like using a modern fonts Click Adler`s Share Above

And also Make it aligned the columns also avoid using bevel in
background contents it is more attractive using a simple background
color

and Make a Scratch in Photoshop and Use Dreamweaver in coding them
Don`t use tables for background content or using it in column
it is more easier in using CSS and a <div> Element

also for the buttons make them appropriate to the theme of your design
or make it opposite ex.
Your theme is Black make the button White

... Dont use any of those 3d software....
Use 3Ds Max or Maya by autodesk.

Erm... Webdesign looks bad...
I suggest you to look at populair websites

Thanks you are totally right ;o
Except for the dreamweaver part I dont like using it I prefer notepad++ im good at html/css so thats no prob at all
And thanks MisterKid but I guess I won't get too much into 3D drawing kinda difficult @.@ I know my design sucks but yea im trying to improve and learn from my mistakes D; This thread helped me a lot with all the people who gave me new idea's ;o
And yea I should look at pro webs thanks ;o
