[Website Design] MapleStar

[Zaytrex]

I randomly decided to start making a web design.

Here's how it looks like so far.

Spoiler

I would definitely like some comments and criticism.

[Burblish]

That looks very nice so, far. Keep it up.

[even]

Love it

[maplefreak26]

It looks really good!

[CodySP]

The concept looks really nice, but I'd love to see more. Containers, content boxes and the like.

Well yeah I'll add those in eventually. I just started it today, took me a long time just to make that navbar, mostly because I kept changing it again and again until it finally became that.

Btw for anyone who wants to know, the background is from the background on KMS currently when you go to

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

[skillet]

I would give you feedback, but you're never on Skype so I won't. :<

[Snopboy]

Looks great Zaytrex! Keep up the fantastic work!

Nice graphics and ****, but the concept is garbage. The layout of the navigation bar is abysmal. You guys are irrefutable visual factual evidence that anyone can trick anyone into thinking their design is great by adding a **** ton of visual effects.

[royalmonky]

I honestly don't find that design good looking. Its kind of ugly IMO. But that's just me.

[Wire]

I don't see how you could call this ugly as **** or anything. This is actually a very nice design, if you don't like it then make your own that you do like.

Never said it was ugly as **** I just said its not visually appealing to me.

Ok, sorry. I just really like his design. That's all.

He has to make some serious changes if he wants this to work. Upon further inspection, it now occurs to me that he did such a hack job for the body that there is no way text would go on it. How do you put text on a body of varying colors? There is simply no good color for text on a body that has both light shades and dark shades. Not only that but the body is also way too big anyways. The lightning on/behind the body can be removed altogether because such extravagant feature behind something like the body breaks the harmony and is annoying to the viewers as they read the news or w.e is currently showing on the body. Again, the navbar is really not thought out well, I don't see myself clicking these spiky shaped buttons that overlaps each other.

[Wire]

I have to say, the buttons overlapping is kind of annoying like oxysoft said.
