What kind of Software use for Banner?

Like in Ragezone home there a lot banners /advertisement banner. I just wanna know what is the software use making banners like that

Usually PhotoShop. Maybe AfterEffects or Premiere Pro if they're animated.

Some also use Gimp as a PhotoShop alternative.

PhotoShop / After Effects is pretty good for this and easy to learn ( if you know the basic )
