Unfortunately, we have experienced significant hard drive damage that requires urgent maintenance and rebuilding. I've the same problem, you need to fix them with Hex Editor (if i remember). The items are actually inside the the game. (For example, try to spawn a "Diamond Axe" or a "Great Bow" you will see that some files are replaced.
