I'm starting to get similar kind of messages more in general. Editing posts, browsing, etc... Its fixed with a refresh or so, but gets pretty annoying.

@Kimberly Usually the syntax errors fix after a good refresh, but those SQL errors I think have to be fixed manually or something. I had an invalid thread error on my profile for almost a week xD

MySQL server has gone away is usually due to a large query being over the max_allowed_packet setting, and more common under high load.

I rarely have this error, but when I start to have the same problem I have to restart the network and computer to return to normal

it's due to some of the plugins we use and a combination of cache not updating quick enough , i'm due a re-configuration of the servers so maybe i'll add it to my to-do list to reduce this from happening as frequent.
