do you have alot of extra applications that run with firefox ie: yahoo, google, norton, spybot, adobe

. I've had firefox running all day and it's currently using 600mb of ram. A restart fixes it but I'm too lazy. =p

the more addons you install the more memory it will use
Exactly. If you don't want to remove your add-ons, however, just run your firefox in safe mode.
