do you have alot of extra applications that run with firefox ie: yahoo, google, norton, spybot, adobe
toolbar attachments or other applications can add resource usage to the program

. I've had firefox running all day and it's currently using 600mb of ram. A restart fixes it but I'm too lazy. =p

update to latest (sorry if its in images, im using some poop com now for some work) and install minimem

Exactly. If you don't want to remove your add-ons, however, just run your firefox in safe mode.
