Why people compare consoles and PCs?

I must say, there are difference indeed in the platform you're using.
But is that really what it should be? Instead of just enjoying playing together, despite the platform is?

People compare consoles and PCs because both are popular platforms for gaming, but they offer different experiences. Consoles are generally more affordable, easier to set up, and optimized for gaming right out of the box. PCs, on the other hand, offer greater customization, better graphics potential, and a wider range of uses beyond gaming.

They both have there benefits. PC tends to have more features but in my experience console has less cheaters. they are compared because they are so different but so much like each other. its like the old coke vs Pepsi
