World MSG and OTHERS

Hi Everyone

My server is up and here is the list of problems i am facing i am using ramankambhoj files

1. When i add friend group in friend list after i reconnect it vanishes.

2. How to change World name like A3 XYZ after entering ID PASS right now i am getting some chinese name

3. How to add and change Ingame auto shouts?

4. How to add equips and edit character from SQL?


Please get me the links if these topics already discussed. I tried searching but its taking too long to search and page crashes some times as my net is slow.

1. I guess your FriendDB database is corrupted or Mainserver is not connecting to FriendDB, just check the ODBC connection in svrinfo.ini file of Mainserver for FriendDB connections

2. To change the World name, Edit login server.ini file in loginserver folder... (What to edit, must be recognized by you)

3. TO change welcome msg, Edit A3_zone_data.dat ( something like this) in zoneserver folder... Check for the existing msg and edit that.

4. Use CVR's GMTool or Chrisdegreece's Char edit tool, Better not mess with Sql directly... Once you master those stuff, then you can use sql querry analyzer to edit char info...

These are all brief hints, learn your self to do it..

do u know what i did i took a3mania client just copy and paste the DATA folder to ur chiese server files and paste them it will replace all to english thats what i did
