The iris client works in win8 but the antihack doesn't. If you disable the antihack then you can get Iris working, but that requires the source. Also this client isn't even 1.18, its 1.12. Thats why there are so many issues with gm client.

Iris is based on the Nif format. You can change some items from Eden Eternal to Iris with some modifications in Niftools.

Could be a few things. For starters, you are using windows 8. Have you already tried this on Windows 7, Win2003, Win2008? Did you already set IRIS_LOGDB, IRIS_GAMEDB, IRIS_MEMBERDB in ODBC x86? The programs aren't compatible with the x64 if you are using a x64 OS.

The 1.12 source is on the forums. You should be able to compile it yourself.

Its better to just manually add it all, because the quest editor that timebomb released is nice but buggy.

I don't believe these files are not able to run localhost. That is one of the major problem with these compiled files.

You can't change the pack password unless you have the source or know how to use ollydbg well enough to edit the client.

I highly doubt that. Running on a 100mb/s dedicated server should be lagless, but if you bring multiple people on the server it will look as if the other person teleports from square to square instead of being synchronous.

While you are callaborating with him, could you please figure out how to make it so server lag is non-existent? Even if PvP and Trade are enabled, people won't be able to do these functions with how choppy animations are in game.
