You've read it correctly, they finally took Adolf Hitler away from his parents. Personally I feel relieved. Those parents really have issues. Plus they say that with the new president it's time for change and that people should accept the name. I'm sure a black president thinks Hitler was a cool guy...

Lmao how the refered to him as 'Little Hitler' made me lol. They are right in saying a names a name but come on fair enough if it was just Adolf, but that's pushing it and asking for trouble. Taking offense at people who were exposed to the Nazi propaganda machines (read into Hitler's Youth), for still having such thoughts... that is like assuming somebody is an awful person for naming their child Joseph Stalin (Stalin could be the middle or last name, but simply having it in there), and declaring the parents unfit to have their own children on that basis. Or to assume any Chinese family that names a child Mao to be morally corrupt, on the basis that Chairman Mao, like Joseph Stalin of Russia, was a paranoid and genocidal maniac. Or even to take offense at somebody naming their child Henry, simply because, in history long since past, a king by that name beheaded his wives out of cruelty.

It is silly to get upset of a name. It is offensive to claim you believe in freedom and then to declare others unfit of having it, simply because you do not like them.

Although... I agree, it was stupid of them to give their children such names, regardless of how they themselves were raised. But it is still their choice.
