well..

Everything was going fine until I reached the part where it says to go to GunzDB/Tables/dbo.Account

Because I have clicked on GunzDB , Tables but I couldn't find the dbo file .

Any help ?

Also my locator says "Run 1: Dead 0"(i think) what does that mean?
When i load the gunz theres no servers?

Guys! Comon.. This tutorial is kind of.. "one sided". The system.xml in your system.mrs has your WAN ip, naturally YOU don't want your locator to be searching for your router, you want it loop back to you (127.0.0.1)
But when the INTERNET (eg: Your friends)connect to your server, they need to bust through your router first (wan ip) to get redirected to your lan and access the server.

Makes sense?

hi me and my friend are trying to make a server , i downloaded all things that u said but i dont understand any thing from begin installation:

i have all the downloaded stuff in a file , i clicked on ClientPart1 Run , then when it done i saw a folder called Client , i clicked on it i saw the launcher and other stuff,maps,shader,sound,theduelexe,etc,etc,but when i click on the launcher > start game , no thing open but the screen of the start game says Refresh the page. tell me xD

Thanks for the comment of the tutorial, about your problem ... Reinstalled. Db and let me know as I was ...

- Let's "Databases" -> Right click -> "New Database"
- For "Name of the database," write "GunzDB" and give "OK"
- Now we will "Backup", we "Databases" -> "GunzDB" -> "Tasks" -> "Restore" -> "Databases ..."
- A new window will open, looking for where it says "From device" -> "Add" -> and search for the database that extracts it by default in "C:\GunzServer\Server\Database"
- Press "Restore"
- Come to "Settings" and press "Overwrite existing database"
Now we started to "GunzDB" -> "Tables" -> "dbo.Account" -> Right click -> "Open Table" and edit the "UserID" which by default is "lol", change it to your liking.

The previous problem is solved , Now i got another problem , How can I change my ip to the WAN IP? help please :S

To do this you must do the steps from the beginning...

-[1]Need HexworkShop and Pe-Explorer (download link above)
WAMP and installed (download link above)

Open GunzLauncher.exe with "Pe-Explorer", click "View" -> "Resources"
Now you will see several folders, you give click in the "EXE" and selecting "Delete resource"
Now save the changes. If you get a window, you give click "YES"
Now open your "GunzLauncher" Edited by "HexWorkShop" -> Press "CTRL + F" and you will see a new window.
For "Type" select "Text String" and where it says "Value Type" Type "http"
Note: In the first search was something like this on the right side

Change the IP to your WAN IP using a hex editor

The game can be changed with http:// to your website.

Note: The letters/numbers in RED posts, that's what you need to edit.

-[2]Now go to the folder "Client" and copy the "system.mrs" decompile the "system.mrs" and edit the file named "system.xml"

You should not give fear to touch it, if you fail ... You can repeat it again .. To do this this tutorial, the "hex editor" Used to the edition of "launcher.exe", what other problems, frankly gives me trouble to explain, for the simple fact that he believes a full tutorial for you to read it ._.

The user will be "sa" key "no" That depends on how configurastes particularly at the beginning of creating the user in the SQL ... I put screenshots of how you create the user and how to change it -.-

the "127.0.0.1" is a "no-ip" ... This "no-ip" will make the server run on PC host, but no more there ... If you want the server to work on other people, logically you should put your ip there ... rofl
