Lol.... you know episode 3 (even 3.1) is like gold around here right..?

What I understand is all thats needed is the .xls files to import. My problem is when I do that (assuming they are even the CORRECT ones) a bunch of tables are duplicated while the other 2/3 of the DB continue to have NULL as data...

I use the database are reviewed, but you gave PaNKJ more sophisticated database that only your database where I got my problem with the database and now my database has been further improved thanks to you

Modify in the log.cfg

$LOG_SERVER_PORTP to $LOG_SERVER_PORT

Tada LogServer_EP3 running.

IMServer_EP3, FildServer_EP3 and NpcServer_EP3 still something missing in the configs.

I will upload my xor tool sooner or later (just making a gui for it and adapting it for my ga tool - the ga tool is still far from finished so dont beg for it). It works for:
quest.tex
afllist.tex
helptext.tex

To understand what this db is: its is the backuped ep3 db (the empty one), where i imported the ep3 stuff from the xls files, filled the rest tables with stuff from the ep2 db. So there is missing stuff still. So youll might have to import more stuff from the ep2 db, youll also have to update the db manually and ofc there are some things thatll take some times to figure out.

@predi24, i didnt get what you meant, my log.cfg has no such mistake, so you must have put it there accidentally.
@ricodex, you mean your server isnt still running? if i read your post right you say you made custom weaps? if thats so be warned theyll most probably crash the client.

Do you know where knowledge is to be had? The answer is as simple as that: in all forms of writing. What you have to do is just READ CAREFULLY. Its not enough that all these problems have been solved by guys who do work and develop, but you also want us to find where we wrote the answer to certain problems a month ago. Do you expect me to remember what i was doing a month ago? But if you read carefully you would have seen these:

I've wondered, how easy to get InitDBTable() working.

You MUST use EP3 database from Filterheadz release, and you must configure $DB_SERVER_IP to atum2_db_account. The PreServer calls atum_PROCEDURE_080827_0087 and that procedure is in atum2_db_account.

lol for me it was 23:50... Anyway i got my server fully running and all i have to do is fixing map, localization, (i suppose omi) etc. Ill up my preserver and my pre.cfg along with global.cfg. If it doesnt work then somethings wrong with your pc/os or something idk about.

One more tip: im, field and npc servers require ti_LuckyMachine.cfg to have valid entries. Otherwise you get config erros. (took me a day to figure this out - in the end i randomly found out that it got the error shortly after reading some localization files... :mellow: )

See how easy it is to find solution to already solved problems? So my suggestion would be to read ALL posts in this section very very very carefully. Thats why there are forums after all. Theres a hell lotsa information here and most of you just dont use it. Do you think its too time consuming? Then you have to know ive read each single post about ao servers here and more than once. And even the slightest clue ive found it has really helped. Pls, at least read this thread from first post to last.

Ive said that in some post, for me the derivative client worked without changing anything but the versioninfo.ver sp thats what im using atm.

I have now compiled a client itself and the work consists of the original client of AceOnline OMI.tex and quest.tex from Germany and the launcher.atm from Ace Pack and it works.

Im gonna make a client for myself as well but the important thing now is to make a fully functioning server. Has anyone managed to figure out how to add credits to an account? I have the impression creds are stored in another db. Also has anyone made the slot machines function (everything is easy about it apart from 2 fields that ive got no clue what to put).
