My current project is importing Endless Ages scenery files.

The only specs I've found so far are from JPL (NASA) and are obnoxiously complex.

well, I've given up on importing Endless Ages scenery.

now, I'm researching fractal terrain generation

found a really cool one, FracPlanet, but it seems to be for Unix and Mac
