Ling, can you answer me two things?
Which is the max chroma level on your server? I mean, do your server have lv45+ quests?
Was you able to fix the texts? (The files I'm using are with a lot of "**** *****. **** ***". Not bad words, those are blocked chinese characters. lol)

You can go higher with "Plan Cheating Equipment" as chroma to like level 81 without doing the quests (fuwa chroma lvl 36+ is buged, the npc Officer Tai Yi is missing). Quest is available once a day but u can get rid of that by modifying the quest task or the clock reset which ever u prefer...
as for the blocked content its cuz EN client does not know how to write them.

I don't remember the names, but the one that is on Moontop Hollow, you should pick felkin quest on Elder of Arcaneness and walk till the end of that place. (I couldn't find it by going thru normal Moontop Hollow.)
The other is walking thru Kunlun Wonderland. (sometimes is a pain to find him.)

Woot. Plan Cheating Equipment... omg. EPIC. No more wasting time on those quests.

Do not use 3.0.5 as it isn't working fully yet with GS, you'll end up having fun cleaning up your character database soon enough IE Wipe.
I'm using Ver 3.0.1 Build 1318 patched with the appropriate litmodels loddata surfaces blah blah

OMG don't use the Plan Cheating Equipment....
It is not complete. You'll have to edit those quests as some say Humanoid is Cheating, Arden is Cheating, Balo is Cheating, Rayan n Celan are in Chinese (... is Cheating but Chinese)... Forta and Incense not working.
Even better some of these "even though here" Do Not give the appropriate experience to level nor do they actually complete properly let alone missing armor...
Good luck if you try to use it. (They're interconnected by 32 different quests and items required to either start or stop the quest).

Plan Cheating always worked no matter which quests it opens u just need 32 free bag slots for so, wings, +8 HG 120 gears male/female, etc... and yeah it gives a series of quests that do work but they give unappropriated exp oh well when yr 150 does not matter does it ?
Hint: You can also use it at 150 unascended ull reach 130 ascended (fuwa) in less then 30 sec lol
Hint: only use Plan Cheating when your chroma reaches maximum and u cant level it (It only gives Chroma level +1)

Open the individual gsalias.conf file such as gsalias15.conf edit only the line under [SpawnController] that says disable = (remove the rest of this line which most likely has a bunch of spawn ID's.

If you had and you actually looked at what I mentioned... You'd see I was right and your oh so wrong right this minute.

They are NOT ALL working. This is not a gripe or rant, just the cold hard truth of the matter.

^ DarkNights is right.
+ The cheating equipment causes corruption within the database.
So a word of advice would be not to use it.
However, if you're skilled in creating your own items, you could always recreate it like Dark did.
But again, I wouldn't touch any of this if you're not experienced.

DB corruption by using the plan cheating equipment item?
I am not saying it is 100% safe, but it worked fine on 3 lv 81 chroma characters on my test server.

Do you know when using that item is dangerous? I mean, when using it will really corrupt the db?

btw, I'll be working on x86 server for sometime, then when I get some money for a CPU upgrade, I'll be working on Ling's too.

Yes if you select the wrong class to use Plan Cheating Equipment... you will find yourself reloading empty database.

use centos 4.5 or centos 4.8 or RHE-4AS (RedHat Enterprise Academic Server (need to be in college and pay the 90$ USD for this one))

Not sure if this is what your asking for quyvuongan (list /usr/share/zoneinfo and hunt down your time zone)

Alright, so I've taken the time to convert these files to Ubuntu, and
completely stabilize them for full use.

There's only 1 thing I want to clear before I continue.
Do not use iWebs for these server files. You will only corrupt your Game
Database.

^ Stick the above one in the folder within htdocs. Sorry I missed a few things guys, I was in a rush.
Stick these into opt/lampp/htdocs. You will definitely need these to test later. XD

Now, onto the setup! ^-^

Unzip the VM image in a folder somewhere and boot it up.
By default, I've set it to be able to use a maximum of 40GB of space, 1GB of
ram and 1 processor... change this if needed.


Start Ubuntu.
The username is root, and the password is "ragezone".
By default, Ubuntu does not have an IP, so you will have to assign it one.

You may use the command dhclient to assign one, and then reserve it
for the virtual machine through your router, or look up a guide on how to do
this on Google.
Alright, now for the MySQL fans, your start command is ./mau and for
the MsSQL fans, your start command is ./msau, so decide which one you
want.

The default phpMyAdmin and MySQL passwords are ragezone so if you
wish to change these, you may do it through the phpMyAdmin interface

Make sure you also change these in the configuration files located
root/myauthd or msauthd/build/table.xml or your server WILL NOT
FUNCTION.

Congratulations! You have successfully started your server up!
I have not included a Register Script by default, or a Vote Script, so I
will include one at the bottom of this release.
A quick note before we finish... if you are editing scripts and
configuration files, the Database name is NOT "sm". It is "mysqld". Remember
this when changing values of this type in your config files.

Now on to the Pro Tips & Tricks!
1. Running this server on 4GB of RAM or more is ideal. Running on less will
reduce performance, and cause instability. Beware.

2. Any tools that were used for the old servers have a very high chance of
resulting in corruption on these files. Do not even use the Item Mailer in
iWebs. This causes crashes, "Server Network Error"'s, and corrupt databases.

3. Links can be found all over the Jade Dynasty section for tools that are
compatible with this server version. If you cannot find them, it might be
worth checking out

This release has been fully tested and completed to the best of my
knowledge. If there are however any problems I may have missed and have come
up, feel free to reply to this and I'll see what I can do.
