hey trash i have one database from haken

not the latest but the one before that , if you like i can give it you cna try ?

its a navicat data transfare file , rar _7Mb

I get this error when i try to use my lan IP in the .config files mangos and realm.

I have used my lan IP in .config's since I started using mangos =)
It just wont let me now.

I have always had mine looking like this here:

# Database connection settings for the world server.
# Default: hostname;port;username;password;database
LoginDatabaseInfo = "192.168.0.10;3306;#####;#####;realmd"
WorldDatabaseInfo = "192.168.0.10;3306;#####;#####;mangos"

I know every person and every guide says to use 127.0.0.1 but thats kind of silly to me. As it doesn't perform as well as the lan IP with proper port forwarding.

Anyone know why its not accepting the connection all of a sudden?
This is NOT a pack error I know.... Its a ME problem. =)


P.S. Forum and website is all working now, thanks trashman. I hadnt closed my original mysql server was all the problem was =) Forum IS working now.
Once again This was a user error not a pack error.

dont use your lan ip just use 127.0.0.1

Shure i would love to try that . Then i would make an smal release that you can copie ver the other one then need to see if that would work

1st post updated with fix for emty world . This is acording to SDB site so i hope it works . That would give me time to work on new site .

By the way site sql files dont have to be executed i fogot to remove them out of an old pacage

Well here we go it is ready . This is an some what lite release becose there is no music in the flash site . Server is for 1.12.x Clients .

Pacage includes :

The Flash site
Forums with WoW skin
Mangos minimanager
Mangos 3088 ( compiled by bogie )
Map/dbc files
Mangos frontend
Mangos restarter
SDB rev 0.5.4 v84

Al ready to run on 127.0.0.1 .

Movie1.swi ( So you can edit the site )
Install instructions and Instructions on how to change the site .

World emty on entering server - Use front end to close server , realm and sql then restart evrything ( Acording to scottech on SDB site ) So i hope this works .

As soon as i have TBC server it will be in the pack
But so far there are non BC server releases yet at least not for 2.0.5 or higher

An blizzlike server 1.12.1
An Funserver 1.12.1
All goodies from first release .
Funserver extras are :
Spawned hyjal
lots of custom npc's
Fighting npc's in hyjal ( Yes we done it mobs fighting eash other )
Hyjal is not fully completed yet so thats why we dint spawn the portal to it yet . Hyjal is an 60+ area so place the portal in mount hyjal cave or so .
Up to lvl 255 player levelstarts .

This sounds like a great release but is there any way you could maybe upload it on filefront or somewhere cause the DL speed on the new version for me is 10 kb/s and I have an 8mbit Cable Connection with nothing running in the background
