If you have time, can you make tut about iweb 1.4.5 too? 343 uploaded and i put it into my server but it seems not working. I looked at the 1.3.6 topic and iweb was already implemented, so basically no actual tut to setup/configure iweb. And other posts are dead link also.

I'm finding this whole guide good. BUT. Why the hell can't I see or make female Characters? Have you removed them or something? Or have I just missed something out? Here are some pics;

Also, if you make a guide and someone asks you how to make themselves a GM don't tell them to go to the older version and look for it. Just tell them. That's what your guide is for!

You're using too new of a models.pck. The two major gfx issues was either DX related (DirectX) or too new of a models.pck... This problem (to my knowledge) happens to be too new of a models.pck

@Farrawh, if you use client v670 and below, you should have no problems with character models not showing. Anything higher is tricky and requires modification / combination.

look for pwi 621 or 658 installer and try this patches >

Up to you, use any flavor of jakart or apache tomcat, or any sql holder for that matter. configure and start. they all work the same tbh. tho some easier to config.

Also this is not an error, though if your users cannot log in, it can be for many reasons.

1) your registration script is set for making all passwords lower case and therefor an uppercase password of any combination will not work. or 2) your MySQL tables for users doesn't accept the format of passwords it is trying to retrieve. Though I'm willing to bet its option 1 seeing how is your server is not returning a matrix password error. There are several more reasons but these are the 2 most likely causes. Anything else can be helped with sufficient logs being posted here with actual errors.

Also all maps work with 12.04 and 12.10 (Tested 20+ times on both from fresh installs) and worked each time. if certain maps are not opening it can be either a problem with your jsp handler, or a really bad copy / install. In these cases I recommend re copying over the maps that do not work (pretty much just re upload the gamed folder) and try again. Worst comes to worst there are always error logs.
