Data base should be WHYDB. LOGON & WORLD.
Ascent_char should be renamed LOGON.
Ascent_world should be renamed WORLD.

Then use NAVCAT to edit the table Account and add the lines. Or use a web server such as Apachi to add it via web.
Pretty simple once you understand how MySql data base works.

I'll post more details on this if you fail after reading this.

Are you sure you are using the one I provided here, chk the date and see if it shows 11/6/2008 9:51 and 9:52 AM. Or you can extract it yourself the extractors are in tools folder.

Make sure you have updated your WOW Client to 3.0.3.

Ok I have been out of the Private Server business since early 08, late 07.
I am trying to get everything straight to trouble-shoot my issue(s).

ArcEMU, Aspire, NCDB, and WhyDB are the four files in this thread.

First question:
Do I download all of these? If so, which order should I download and install in?

Second question:
How many Databases are in Navicat that I should be using for these? 2 or 3 (Ascent_Char, Ascent_world, etc)

Third question:
There are 4 Exe's in Aspire (World, Logon, Voicechat, and Realms). In ArcEMU there are 2, Logon and World. The DBC files that Bong uploaded only work for Aspire's exe's when they're in the folder. I am curious to know if Aspire is the one I should be using?

My main issue that I am trying to work through is the create a character. I have installed the new SQL and I have the DBC's that BONG put in this thread and to no avail I have been unable to create a character.
I am just trying to work out anything that I might of been doing wrong.:$:


*Edit: Using the ArcEMU-World.exe gives me the invalid DBC error now.

1. You only download database (WhyDB, NCDB) and server files (Arcemu, Aspire).

2. You just need world database and chracter+ logon database.

3. You just use world.exe and logonserver.exe. And put your DBC files to your serverfiles folder.

Strange enough, the DBCs aren't correct. =/ Not even when I extract them myself.

I get the following errors:

Can you be more specific, like which core you have used, etc.?
