woot gratz guys on getting it all up and running....if only i knew more about colinux.
I know we are supposed to try things before we ask but dang a sortof guide would be nice...being that ive had NO experience with colinux i know this is going to be an epic cascade of failures and hair pulling and weeping haha.
Ah well for a server newb like me anyway.
Its good to see that it works as people that dont have guaranteed files have now a goal to work to.
Very usefull thank you for hope.

All your problems are highlighted in red. Solve them and then you might find things easier.

Hmmm from no files to some files ile take it.
Yeh im not a fan of colinux either but its like new lollies i will try them out anyway...eventually.
ATM im going to work on SEModder release as ubuntu is my forte.
Thanks guys for pointing out the futility of colinux every bit of pointers helps even if it is pointed out rather brashly.

I thought you were going to give up on Colinux and use a proper vm like vmware or virtualbox?

For those of you have trouble installing I would advise you to use both the following links.
http://forum.ragezone.com/f695/server-client-1-4-2-a-698047/ - Ronny's server guide tells you how to setup a server from scratch so you know how it works.
http://forum.ragezone.com/f694/complete-pw-package-736572/ - 343's Package is simple to install and provides a good base.

I highly recommend anyone to learn how the old 1.3.6 servers work before even thinking about 1.4.4
