Death Note End

The ending wasn't the best, but they still Killed off the best character L
Then they kill Mello and Matt :|
So light had it coming xD

i want Kira to be the new God it would be more fun and besides the note holder Mikami i liked his style too.....

i have watched the death note anime and also the movie version 1 and 2

and also seen the "L change the world" version

the story in the movie version is kinda twisted.. the way that L died.. in the anime Rem the shinigami killed L but in the movie he wrote his name on the note to die after 23 days..

what do you think guys?

I also expected Light to win actually. I didn't expect him to lose his cool that he'd kept up in countless amounts of situations, but then he broke down in the very end. I really thought he got Near though, and I thought the delay of everyone dying was all according to plan.

Deathnote Ending

I know I'm kinda late on discussing this but it was really quite wasted on the ending and I was able to finish it currently now.
Because at the end Light died and got outsmarted by Near and also I was really expecting Light to someday on its series to use the shinigami eyes but he never attempted too.

Sad ending was expecting more from Light that time.

Strange, I've never posted in this thread before (despite the bump). For myself I side with the majority, though I found that after L died they should have just ended the series there. Personally, I thought Near and Mello were pretty shitty characters and in defeating Light it kind of ruined the image of L being the ultimate detective, despite the fact they were his succeeders .

I really wish there was more for both the manga and the anime
