[Dragon] DragonFlyFF Server Source has been released!

It goes in Players.cpp not player. :] also dark, i made mine like this, theres no need to specify the accesslevel for each command.

Code:
bool Players::chatProcessor(Player* player, char* msg, int len){
	if(player->getAccessLevel() <= 100)
		return false;
	else if((msg[0] == '!') || (msg[0] == '/')){

@dark
Code:
if(player->getAccessLevel() > level_gm) {
				if(strlen(next_token) > 0){
					Movers::noticeMover(player,next_token);
					[COLOR="Red"]return true;[/COLOR]
				}
				return true;
			}
you dont need the return true inside the inner if statment, when it goes out of the if, it will go to the other return, making the same effect with less code. And, you could put the check for access level at the beggining of the whole thing, so one check for all the things(obs: when it doesnt find a command to execute, it should return false, so the text would appear as a chat text, the return true makes the message get ignored).
You did it nice, but its good to get some tips ;)~

@thesnowman
it is at Players.cpp :P

@ayboangelus
Im not 100% sure, but from what I know, char* var or char * var or char *var have the same effect. In this case, it must be with * so it will be a pointer that acts like an array, because it receives more then 1 character. ;]

OHHHHH I get it...

Man it's amazing how one little thing.....

I had already fixed what you were speaking of....just wrong lol

I had:

Code:
if(connectToWorldServer("127.0.0.1 , 23000"))

Instead of:

Code:
if(connectToWorldServer("127.0.0.1" , 23000))

*Slaps forehead*

Man this is some touchy crap!!!!

lol i can get ingame lol..ill post some fixed source later and a guide ahaha

Okay Just a Quick Question Do I Need all of the flyff version 11 files (except neuz) for the client to open the server? Cause I Have version 12 files with v11 neuz :P I'm just wondering if this is a problem if so I feel
so Dumb Founded... >_<

EDIT: Sorry about that, I wanted to know how can I log in by using the client or If someone can explain to me how to remove
Gameguard out of the Neuz.exe. I think i'm still not making sense... Sorry If I'm not.

lol I have a lonnng way to go....

I can get the solution to build correctly on both login and gameserver.....

Login server crashes as soon as it opens.....

Gameserver crashes on start....

I'm nowhere near logging in lol.

I am still a huge amateur at coding though....only problem is my ADHD....I'll be deep in codes looking for erros and such...racking my brain trying to figure it out....searching the web for arrays and such...

Then it happens....in the back of my head I hear a noise....

Come play....loads of Cannibal Mammoths here for you to AoE...

Oh...excuse me...thats Fame calling...gotta run.

@Blazing....

You say open the server...you mean run the server?

Shouldn't need any client files....if I'm not mistaken.

No you need either add -sunkist to the execute line of the link

Or do a search in the forums for the No GG .exe for FlyFF

EDIT:

Was bored so I'll add the links for you...

Heres one supposedly fixing the options problem and such...havent tested it myself...

And heres the original one...

Wow, I am getting proud of you all. I see a lot of activity since the release. Nice work. Keep going and you will be a lot smarter when you are done.

I wanted to point one thing out. You can customize the gm commands to anything you like. You know how the official commands trigger with "/". Dragon uses "!", but you are not limited to this. I recommend you make it unique like "@", "$", "GM", or whatever you want. You can define this in the beginning of the GM command section but I think you might have figured it out.

It would serve as more security if someone access your server with GM access somehow. It would throw them off the trail if it is unique.

Just wanted to point that out.

Just keep on topic you all are doing fine.

i don't understand Glaphan, i have edit your config.ini, and the login serv correctly connect to my database. I think i don't had error.

Maybe it's more better for the security to put it in the compilation, i don't know. So why edit it ? can you explain me. Because i have compile loginserv without problem.

i have problem only with charserv.

I recall something interesting. Yesterday, FrostElite make a fix for Caali's backdoors and released it in a

thread. DeadlyData posted that Frost wasted his time and gave sufficient proof that the backdoors were

fake. The funny thing is, after he got burned, he deleted the thread. I guess he didn't want to make you all

who banned Caali's files look stupid, including himself.

First of all, I created a backdoor exploit. Which probably didnt work that well. Which is what deadly pointed out.
And a moderator deleted my thread not me. You're making yourself look stupid now.

hmm, then any user above alv 100 can use every command? including the GM ones?

@bogerr
Lol ok..if thats what you think then ill not release it ^_^
