Honestly, I dont understand why people are complaining when Guild Wars has been out for 2 years now and its so cheap to buy the game nowadays. I dont understand how anyone wouldnt be able to afford it. Besides me ranting, everyone who is working on GWLP keep up the awesome work.

Well I'm new here well I am and Im not. First time posting as I'm usually a lurker that just reads posts and yeah stay out of trouble. Although I been registered for a few months now. Come to think of it maybe I should have posted in the Introduction forum first. I'll get right on that now after this post here. This reply caught my eye so Im replying to iceissocold. I'm from New Zealadn and Guild Wars has been out for two years as you already stated but its not cheap. Well not here as its still the same price as it was when it was released. Almost $80 or $90 I cant really remember. World of Warcraft on the other hand thats dirt cheap as the price of that has dropped to like $25 to $30 or something. Less than half that of Guild Wars. But I prefer Guild Wars and refuse to plat WoW as its not free to play. Anyway as I was saying even though Guild Wars has not really gone down in price in New Zealand that maybe because its technically has yet to be released here. They are only just now officially releasing it in New Zealand this August or September. There was like only a handful of like 2 or 3 online stores that sold it only because they where able to import it. I always wondered why I could not go down to my local store and buy it straight off the shelf.

I agree with you in your point about how you cannot understand why users complain about Guild Wars not being free anymore (which is rubbish) and complain about anything they can think of that has to do with Guild Wars. I wish the Emulator was already done as I'm so dieing to try it but I would rather wait as long as it takes and know that in the end the guys that are doing this are doing a good job at it and perfecting it. I have great respect for you guys and mostly my respect goes to Theora. Your doing a brilliant job here and its something that I could never do. i was never good at programming as i hated it as I never was able to get my head around it. I'll stick to hardware as thats where my talents reside.

it starting to annoy me seeing these N00b's dis respect you and the others that are working on this but I'm not letting it get to me as well once I start I tend to rant a bit (Not in a bad way don't get me wrong here). I think it just boils down tot he fact that these N00b's feel insuperior and dumb compared to you guys and the only why that they can feel all high and mighty is to disrespect your work and the rest of us. Yea it's kind of too bad.. At this point it should be made open-source so it can continue to live, all of this hype and then project dropped is very inappropriate on his part.
