Tried a bunch of files, and VM too... but:

Is there a way to run it on another Database, like mariadb?

BTW: if i try to connect to VM the client says "Wrong Username / Password"
In VM i can login via Postman and the start.bat is edited with token, id and password
Also edited the loginserver.xml with VM IP adress

im sure something in config is wrong edit some days ago a guy got same problem i helped him and its was the vmware IP that connected to a wrong network so check it if the IP the right one

yeah just recognized i just edited one config file in the client not all of them :X

you can run sql server 2012+ on windows 8,10,11
works perfect using on my laptop and my dedicated windows 11 i have no problem check the error msg that you receive

Maybe you could share your SQL Setup file?

iam using sql 2019 works perfect dont have any problem

you can always use a higher one, but it doesn't work with a lower version of sql server

Is there a source with ALL needed DB Backups? or do i need to make them by myself with the vm?
Just found a Backup(1).rar but there are just 3 files instead of 5 like in the setup video

make a database backup from vmware
repack it same do with server files and laragon
copy the rar files from vmwar to your computer

1. Launch SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and connect to your SQL Server instance.
2. Expand the Databases node in Object Explorer.
3. Right-click the database, hover over Tasks, and select Back up....
4. Under Destination, confirm that the path for your backup is correct. If you need to change the path, select Remove to remove the existing path, and then Add to type in a new path. You can use the ellipses to navigate to a specific file.
5. Select OK to take a backup of your database.

You need to overwrite your current one check Option
*To restore using SSMS do the following, on the options page for the restore select "Overwrite the existing database*

okay, finally made it.... now laragon cannot connect to the database... where do i set the logindata....
also the mainserver cannot connect to database

LoginServer, WorldServer and LobbyServer starting without errors

make sure you changed all IPs in the config and make sure you are open all modules as Administrator
