I had a this kind of problem,when i wanted to run l2.exe it said that the files are corrupted and i need to do full check -.- seems like the only way i could fix that is with reinstalling the IL client again,thats what i'm doing right now,hope that will help me.
Tho with the server i got no problems,i have it running,altho i havent tryed to connect yet :S

next time you will recieve a warning. use gamegaurd emulator from l2jtools section or change to False the gameguard from the server configs.

or add in your host file 216.107.250.194 nProtect.lineage2.com

well,anyway,i dont know what i am doing wrong,i cant opent my l2 with l2.exe i get an error,only way i can open the l2 is by loader.exe from l2encdec.
After i do so,and i try to login,i simply fail,it doesnt do anything... -.-

Reinstalling now and gonna check that soon,i got the line of nprotect at the host already.
Damn that pissing me off,the server is running but i get problems with connecting to it :ala:

edit:

so i've installed a clean client now,havent patched it,nothing...opened it,had no gg error,when pressed login it stucked for few sec and after nothing happened.

edit 2: if i edit the l2.ini with l2fileedit and put there my ip,i get an error from l2.exe when i try to open it.

I followed the tutorial to a tee and everything works until i try to login and it says wrong password. I opened the ports and everything. i checked a lot of times and made sure it was the right pass but no luck logging in. I don't have any hosts files in my etc folder but i have Imhosts and where do you put the edit at? the bottom? one more thing is there a spot where we are suppose to put the server folder or can it be anywhere on the computer.
What do you need to download for the java site?

I cant start Navicat. It shows me a message saying that there are missing required library files :scratch: what should I do?

Hey Guys, great job. Just joined Ragezone yesterday and although a few speed bumps had the interlude l2j server working in a few hours from this guide.

Just follow each step and each error that you come accross you will be able to fix.

I do have a question now that I am inside my server. I gave a char lvl 100 access however when I type //admin nothing happens.

How do you get access to the admin skills?

Also have about 9 old computers laying around here in South America... p4 2.0ghz 2.4g 3.0ghz

However after I get the server the way I want it will want to buy a computer for up to 500 players or rent a server online. Any suggestions.

Appreciate all the help and will be sure to pass it on to others in need.

Thanks for the reply however my accounts are set up in navcat with 100 and 150 for access level and still no admin tools.

It may have something to do with login server set to lan ip and logging in with 127.0.0.1. Does 192.168.1.33 (internal ip) the same as 127.0.0.1?

Everthing else is correct however still no admin tools with //admin etc.....
