I didn't find anything searching Ragezone or this thread, so I thought why not ask <_<

Are the arrows and speed client-sided? Because after several tests it seemed so. So I'd like some information on fixing or anykind of info that would help.

hi i hav a problem, when i lauch worldserver it gives me a fatal error: Could not execute query: Unknown column "startItems" in fieldlist

After the libmysql package is installed, we need to change a few lib paths.

Open up your project (such as worldserver.dev, which can be found in the "worldserver" folder) Go to menu "Project>project option".
2. Go to "parameters" tab and change the "C:/Dev-Cpp/lib/libws2_32.a" and "C:/Dev-Cpp/lib/libmysql.a"
for you correct path.

ok i got my server up but when i go to log in it says incorrect password and it is the right pass im typing can anyone help please?

When i start WorldServer.exe, i got a :

"[Fatal Error] Could not execute query: Unknown column 'StartItem' in 'field list'

What can i do to fix that, Because when i log into my server, they say it's undergoing maintenance.

I followed Aika guide but i don't see my problem

please help me,
i was looking at your tut and i downloaded the navicat and the fullserver fulls.
i run navicat and install, and follow what you told me to do in that tut,
after i installed the navicat.
i run it.
and press Connection.
i do exactly like urs,
but when i press Test Connection They Say
2003 - Cant COnnect To MySQL Please Help.

pfff.. works now but got the old problem again if I go to select char, the Worldserver crashes! help...

if u still got the error u have to do the following:
1. go to your navicat
2. go to your database from roseon
3. rightclick on quest_data
4. design table
5. somewhere in the table add a new field
6. call it startitems
7. type: varchar
8. length: 255
9. decimals: 0
10. allow null
11. save it and run the WorldServer.exe again
12. problem solved
(credits goes to the SEARCH button that some people don't use and to mathiasB for release the solution, and little part me cuzz you have to add it instead of changing because most people don't have the startitems in the table yet )

And DerPate do u use the newest gamegaurd fix because what i have read is that if you got that problem u need the newest gamegaurd fix


I hope that some people will use the search button now because that solve a lot of problems

then u didn't installed the MySQL good. You should do it this way.

1.run the setup.exe
2.install it like the normal way
3.at the end it will ask for configuration and press finished
- if not then just press finished and go to start>programs>MySQL>MySQL server>MySQL Server Instance Config Wizard
4.press Detailed Configuration>next
5.Server Machine>next
6.Multifunctional Database>next
7.next
8.depend on how many users may come online if 20 or less then chose the upper one if you want 500 or less chose middle one or chose the lower one for configure how many people can joine your server yourself(like 75 or 50 people)>next
9.enable both things and change port number to 3306>next
10.Standard charachter set>next
11.enable install as windows service MySQL and enable launch the ....>next
12.uncheck modify security settings>next
13.press execute and then run navicat again and rightclick on localhost and click open connection.

Q1:i got an error while configuring the MySQL software. it's error 0
A1:uninstall MySQL>delete all the folders left from MySQL(c:/program files/ and also c:/ i thought not sure) then re-install the software and configure it on the above steps
