Hi guys, First off i want to say that this was an excellent tutorial.
I just wanted to point something out I followed the tutorial to the letter and I would get to the enter your user name and password. I would enter it but the game wouldn't do anything so after four hours of trying everything from recompiling the source code to changing the config files i found the error. I was using asd for my password so I got angry and slammed the keyboard and I typed in more letters and it said invalid password. it seems if you use a three letter password the game won't recognize it. I just wanted to let you know. If you knew this already then disregard. Thank you for making a wonderful tutorial and keep up the excellent work.

The server reads the data directly from the extracted STBs

i only can connect to my own server. others can't.. i tried forwarding ports 29000 29100 29200. it wont take it i guess maybe Norton 360 is blocking them or my ISP does here im following

guide to port. i tried to use Team Viewer on my friends computer to connect to my server. the launcher was genesis. i use my server ip on the parameter as 125.60.235.235. and everytime i open char,login,world servers the IP is always 127.0.0.1 trying hard as i can to let my friend connect to my server as possible and it says on her screen when login "Maintenance" stuff D:< hehe. im learning tho as i can although guide is so great, maybe i should uninstall norton and it'll work i guess if not i'll ask my ISP if it blocks those ports ><

No it's not, look at your mysql error in your capture.

It's really easy...
This is the easiest way of making an rose server.
If you don't count installing time and extracting time and such.
It will take me less than 4mins to create a fully working server?
and nobody will make you GM/Admin out of nowhere.
and people will not make you a server for nothing.
Just because you can't do it.

ahh i cant do i try days & days but it didnt work ahh i m 15 years old & im from United Arab Emerites i dont understand some english eord ahh i will just see & i will not do anything i download mysiqal they said u cannot unistal i download the data base they said eeror even my computer dosent help all the program eror eror but thanks for helping me

so when i open Loginserver.exe it gives me the following fatal error :

[FATAL ERROR]:Could not execute query: Table 'roseon.channels' doesn't exists.


when i open the char server it gives me the same error, and when i open WorldServer, is the follow error:

[FATAL ERROR]: Could not execute query: Table 'roseon.list_mobgroups doesn't exists.


Can someone help me to fix that?
