Right click pets.patch -> open with notepad -> now what? (please make it NOOB friendly)

I think I found a way to make pets able to be bought from the CS. I'm testing it out now.

for some reason.. when I try to patch I get "The line index: was not found! Either this is not a diff file or the diff is empty..

only way you can claim it as your own is if you change all the declarations otherwise you can tell whats what.
