I'm sorry for you. As you can see in the video, the game pauses for me to load the items. After that it continues. Why it crashes for you then is a mystery to me. Maybe you don't have enough memory?

i have 32 gb ram and 150 gb of free space, so hardly doubt about it.


maybe because game is on an external hard disk?

by the way how you add energy credit? i finally managed to get some uniform from the console, but you must pay 150 just to wear them

You get energy credits from selling the trash/items. Batterys, power cells, weapons, shields... From the console you get them with "givenumeric resources 1000" -> you get 1.000 EC. replace resources with "gpl" and you will get latinum. You can also replace it with "dilithium" for dilithium...

The problem with the crash, yeah it can be caused by the fact being on external disk. Try to move it on an internal disk.

Yupp. First your MCP doesn't need that many options. It's only a display thing. I don't upload ca. 50 GB to the internet, it's too big.

Your workaround:

1. Start your MCP

2. Click on "Monitor" in the right down corner

3. Scroll down to the bottom in the opened webinterface "Monitor" and click on the Machinename

4. On the top of the next page there is a drop down menu "commands" click on it and select "Launchaserver"

5. Now opens a new drop down menu and asks "What type of server". Specify in the drop down menu the type of the server (guild server, GroupProjectsServer etc...) an then press "Go!" button on the right side.

You can run all this events at the same time. But you will hear no music in Club47 on Earth Space Dock, because the game doesn't know - should i now playing the disco music or the event music?

Edit 2: Wrote a little script to automatically install all .Microtrans files. I dont know what good the deprecated folder is so I would remove it prior to running my installer:

To get the store setup just DL the microtrans file from:

unpack and delete the deprecated folder from the microtrans folder (it's not needed).

start the MCP by running 1_start_MCP.bat. Hit the bafflingly complex button and be sure the client is not set to load automatically. Then hit the big green button to start the server. Once it's running, run the microtrans install script provided by Fluo.

create and account on the server by using your web browser and going to 127.0.0.1:8090 and selecting 'create'. Enter an account name and PW.

after that, make sure the IP addresses in the 4_start_Client.bat are set to 127.0.0.1.

run 4_start_Client.bat.

should start up and run.

How can I activate the events?

How to activate the events:

Simple (can cause problems with the database when you change the date backwards and then forwards again and so on)
Set the date on the server pc to the period of the original event (you can use the star trek online wiki for that) example: Year 2 Anniversary: Feb 2 - 6, 2012.

Advanced (you don't have to change the date on your server pc)
Use console commands example: >>Borg Beta Event<< -> in chat window type (without ") "accesslevel 9" [ENTER] "/console" [ENTER] in the console type "Setshardvariable borg_beta_event 1" -> starts the event, the borg invasion

Expert (you don't have to change the date, you don't need to use the console commands, running the game runs the events automatically)
Modify the event files, change the period during the event runs, i changed (all of them) to end 2099-12-31. After modifying the files you have to rebin them and update the hogg-files and replace them in the game client.

If you ever wondered how to get the currency via the console then just type what is below inside the console. Make sure you have level 9 access.
