All the ips should stay the same the only one that should be edited is when your setting up server when it asks what is the database host? you can change that to anything if the database is on another pc but other then that the other ips stay at 127.0.0.1 and 0.0.0.0 because that is only for the server to run on that pc.

I'm sorry for asking if this has been covered elsewhere, but . . .

Can this server be assigned a lan/wan IP, or is it localhost only?

if LH only, can edits be made to the source to allow LAN/WAN play?

The reason i ask is that I have the server up and running in VMWare, but I cannot connect. I am using the client provided in the torrent, with whatever the latest patch is (supposedly). I am calling my ragII.exe with a properly formatted (afaik) batchscript.

When I check using the console command "Server -showworlds" it says world 1 is accessable @ 127.0.0.1. This is, I assume, the reason i can't reach the loginserver as well?

Hi, my Map server writes error too.
Please help me, here is errorlog:

"System.Exception: Server failed to connect to the database server
at Saga.Managers.Database.Load() in c:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\Saga Revised\Saga.Authentication\Managers\Managers.Database.cs:line 85"
