ppl can get ingame but i cant open the files here is my error again:
the application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect.reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
and i have all the updates of framework to 3.5 and get the new update you give and have all in one folder

well, I am not sure what everyone is doing. I have VS C++.NET installed so it might have something to do with that.

Is everyone useing the fix I uploaded? It has the link files, and the dll file needed. These came with the kiki source so if you can load kiki's server then you should be able to load it.

I am really at a loss for words as to why the error is showing up and the best answer I can give is you need VS C++ Express. It installs a lot of things needed.

If anyone has been ingame with it, explain if you have anything that I did not mention, like programming languages, MySQL ODBC Drivers, etc.

I am able to run your files but for but some reason they will not connect to my mysql server. I made the database flyff2 and did not set a root password. Kiki's original files work just fine and connect to my database flawlessly. Are you sure you did not specify a mysql password in the source? It appears that you did.

As for the Microsoft .Net 3.5...I wouldn't use it...

I have learned in my coding that it is not backwards compatable with 2.0...

I'd use 2.0...that may be the reason your getting errors...

3.5 is only needed if something you built was built soley by VB 2008....it's the only program as of right now relying soley on 3.5.

As I had stated this is an early early release. I set the database as such:

database: flyff2
username: root
password: pass


later on I wil have it configured to an ini file. but for now use this. I will edit the first post accordingly.

becuase you say to me to download c++ program i download and now it work thanx
but i try to open the files and now it dissapier after 2 seconds
i think it mysql problem
need other password maybe?
