Hello, i just hvae nothing to do so let's share a little knowledge. IF ALREADY KNOW HOW TO DO IT DONT SAY I KNOW IT.
Here i will teach you how to edit the Dash effect.
You need:
Photoshop [
The DDS Plugin for Photoshop [ Attachment - Photoshop DDS Plugin.rar ]
sfx.mrs [ Found in your GunZ Client folder ]
Mrs Packer/Unpacker [ Attachment - mrs.rar ]
Optionnal - Mrs Commands for lazy people [ Attachment - mrs commands.rar ]
Step 1 -) Get and extract sfx.mrs
Go to your Gunz client folder ( default C:/Program Files/MAIET/Gunz ) and copy sfx.mrs. Paste it in a new folder on desktop. Copy the mrs unpacker files and the mrs commands in that folder, too.
Step 2 -) Modify the Dash textures
Go to where you copied sfx.mrs and double click on unpack sfx.bat. Go to the new folder called sfx and then look for these files: gz_effect_dash2.tga.dds, gz_ef_dash.bmp.dds and gz_ef_dash2.bmp.dds. Open them with photoshop. (To install the plugin : copy the unzipped plugin in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Plug-Ins\File Formats)
In photoshop, choose wich one you want to modify first, then hit CTRL+U. Move the first cursor as you wish for the color, and the second one is for how much the color is flashy. The third one of the brightness.
Step 3 -) Saving
After you modified the textures as you wish, save them (CTRL+S). Make sure they are on the DDS format, then click Save. A pop up will appear, just click Save.
Step 4 -) Repacking
Double click the pack sfx.bat file, copy sfx.mrs and paste it in your gunz client folder.
You're done!
