TIP: Start Doing Again Everything From The Installation Of SQL Up To Installing The Server Files...

But Do It Carefully Check Everything That You Are About To Do...

I Have Done It Like 10 Times Now...

And I Get Good Results...

um, ok 4pLay, but would u mind write 1by1 exacly what u did? I mean after instaling centos, like

- copy x,y,z file from .... to ...
- use .... command
- change x,y,z file to be like ...

?

I know tut on first page is good, but look like lot of people did exacly like that and failed ... and I did it and works for u, so if u could I think we would be really greatful

Hmmmm....

1st. Install SQL - Follow The Guide On How To Install.

2rd. Open SQL Manager For Opening Pipes - Also The Same Guide As The 1st.

3nd. Create DB's - Also Follow The Guide How To.

4th. Restore DB's - Same As Guide.

5th. Create A Link Server - Also In The Guide As Follows.

6th. Install CentOS - Follow Guide.

7th. Open WinSCP Connect To Your CentOS - This Is Also Included With The Guide.

8th. yum update - And Also Part Of The Guide.

9th. Installing The Server Files Up To Configuring It - Also Together With The Guide.

10th. Check Status Of The Server If It's Running Or Not By Typing In "service cabal status" And If Some Of It Is Stopped Type In "service (NEEDS TO BE START) start" This Is What We Call Starting It Manually.

11th. For The Last Time Check The Status Of The Server If All Of It Are Running.

12. Then Create An "Internal.txt" And Save It In The Data Folder Of The Client And "Start.bat" Save It In The Root Of The Clients Folder.

13th. Finally!!! = PLAY THE GAME! By Double Clicking "Start.bat"

edit : i setup a cabal ep8 server into a normal pc on 25 minutes and work awesome,why he won't in VPS?i use NAT and ports forwading on centos machine(VPS) and in pc i use bridged because i open ports in router..any1 can help me?thank you

Can't seem to get agent shop working. Tried with the server files posted in this thread and Extornia's.. Can't seem to get it working. And yes I replaced the AgentShop bin with the ones from the original release.

To everyone who cant connect to server by this tutorial:

I made my server working and online thx to this topic http://forum.ragezone.com/f459/cabal-online-ep8-server-installation-908407/

I did almost same as on videos (remmeber to dl all files from there, db files and repack), my only chnage was when we are at 3 video, sth like service cabal setup (or config) there is IP to write of players , for me worked ip of my centOS, and not IP from whatismyip, and I had to reset few time WorldSvr_01_01 (about 25-30times) and than went to simp cabal data folder, and create that Internal.txt file (and used centOS ip there), and when I created this file I copied it and pasted to simp root folder, started bat file with breaklee and worked.

PS. I have only 1 chanel worked for now on, and normal rates, dunno how chnage em.
PSS. DO EXACLY WHAT IS ON VIDEOS
PSSS. if someone need help, just ask me I will try help as I can

First answer: Account DB-> Stored Procedures -> cabal.tool.registeraccount (idk exactly but seems this like)
Second answer: that is your work... if you want good protection or more includes, you need to work with it. no one will share his hard work. example ask PunkS7yle for unpacked TG cabalmain.exe files. But i dont give any hope for you

hey..i still not understand how to make account..after go cabal.tool.registeraccount what must i do next? please help me.

i cant see channels :S
I can log in (also from my friend's PC), so the client working, service cabal status shows that everything is running. Logs doesn't show me error :s

Clear your CabalCash db. that will clean everything what you have in cash invertory (bugged items too)

Keep trying from the begining, same error always :S

I can see only Mission war if i use: "service cabal WorldSvr_01_08 start"
I can log in, but i cant make a character in m.war channel :S

check your WorldSvr's running or not? right configured, and check log's that say almost everything.
