World's First Time Machine

[MentaL]

Anybody catch this on Discovery - Science? Its now been proven that its possible to travel through time, the way in which it works is using the speed of light.. Now the devise you use to travel cannot be used to travel to any date specific , only a date in which the machine has been operational.

Keep an eye out on discovery science and watch it.

// After a year, I found the video

[Konrow]

really? that sound spretty interesting. i don't suppose they'll have a show in the US on it?

[wounded]

Heh...messed...I really don't know where i stand on this topic...but i really don't think it will bring much good. And i really don't believe that there is a functioning one...or how it works ... :S

[MentaL]

I'll attempt to rip it tomorrow for you.

[wounded]

Ok, I'd like to watch it to see what it's about and how it would work...I'll go search for a link if i can in the mean time.

[Negata]

I really wonder if traveling time in this context means what we expect based on sci-fi movies...

[Iron Maiden]

It's probably something to do with reliving your memories or something. Like somehow they can force your brain to virtually relive your past?

[MentaL]

No all wrong, hard to explain but its all physically possible and being developed.

EDIT-

Science in Space

some info but not relating to the device.

Interesting...but it is still being theorized and developed...so that means that haven't actually done it yet right?

Im sure there is a time machine right now, but none of us will find out about it any soon.
discovery channels show us only the noob level information that the goverment allows them to.

Then we will know how the earth come to be and prove god doesnt exist.

I dont see the logic in the post.

I think time travel would create two parallel universes that is A) the universe that you came from and B) the universe you made in a sense.

I think of that cause I don't wanna dissappear cause someone went back in time and killed my parents or something

[MentaL]

The show goes into detail about going to your past and trying to chance someones life and it states that its not possible for one reason or another because its determined by the past and present already;

[GOD]

Hmm intresting

[Hitsu]

I always wonder if it's possible...

[Kaoii]

Time travel is easy, just hit Warp 10 =p

[LightWarrior]

Damn!!! time travel to the 1950!! yeah

[Risk]

oh now that seems interesting.

[aznzero]

The world as we know it shall be ended because of stupid inventions =/
