so this is very interysting but is not real!! agin you are traveling hit speed needet to travel thry time and space {eg 30 light yers per second ** u wont travel try time you only wil have pased 30 light yers for 1 sec and then nothing you have traveld 30 light yers from home but nothing els !!! for time traveling you will have to travel whit 9834905834799999x9999e99 l.y./s then you may travel thoght the time and space so isnt posable to reach so big speed i repeat TIME TRAVELING IS NOT POSSEBLE!!!!!! but its good to dream about it:wiggle: :wiggle:

if u travel at a certain speed in the atmosphere u can go fast enough to nock off a couple of miliseconds but a if say a year or so? thats goin to take alot of development to happen

There's light coming from earth. It's very weak compared to the light from the stars, but if you really were on the other side of the galaxy (Or a couple of lightyears away, doesnt really matter), AND you're able to see the light from earth in detail from a great distance, you would see the light from earth which was 'created' on earth that many years ago (Light you see = how many lightyears you are away from the object). So if you were a hundred light years away from earth, you would be able to 'see' a hundred years back in time, because you see the light from earth from a hundred years ago (If you get what I mean, ).

And if you combine this with folding space time (wormholes, read the link given by MentaL)... Well let's just say that things can get very interesting...

Time travel? Pffttt... It's not real and never will happen.

Faster you go = the slower time will EFFECT you
That infact doesn't mean you are actually traveling though time but the effcts of time lessens on you.

So when you do actually hit light speed. Time will have no effect on you. Where as time will continue to run. So in reality you are just in suspended animation just frozen in time. You are not traveling it because it's still happening. The only thing that will happen is that it will no longer effect you (like the statis chamber on Red Drawf).

That's time dilation and it wont affect what's inside the vehicle travelling at the speed of light but whatever is watching from the outside will see it as stopped. So kinda would travel in time if if 1 second inside the vehicle = infinity outside...but that's impossible + to travel at the speed of light your mass would become infinate (even more than vanessa feltz) thus requiring an infinate amount of energy to accelerate you to this speed .

Anyway, if you want to see into the past, just look up into the sky. The rays from the sun left it 6min ago, the rays from stars leave thousands of years ago.

The whole wormhole thing could be intresting, if you went 2006light years away instantly you could see jesus being born etc. Anything more than that isnt going to happen.

If time travel existed my theory on it would be there are an infinate amount of universes where every decision could of been a yes and a no each will of happened (quantum particles etc aswell). If you go back in time you create a new dimension, the one you came from still exists however you can never go back to it. The new one will be exactly the same as your original one until you actualy do something, ie steping on a bug. This is only for back in time, forward you would stay on the same timeline.

Imo the next form of space travel will be plasma rockets and will start in space rather than having to send it all up at once using boosters. Anyone who things wormholes will work are barking up the wrong tree, to make them work you need MASSIVE masses, like the weight of stars. Then your gonna try send people thought it? i dont think so lol. Then their is no targeting system to start with so you could end up anywhere with anouther high mass, so you could end up making a wormhole into a star anyway.

Ohh and mental is was probly hoter than the sun, we have created alot higher temps in labs, and quite possibly the coldest temp in the universe aswell.

What I was on about fusion is that it's the only way to power a fold device large enough to actually transport long distances and large objects.

I think time travel would create two parallel universes that is A) the universe that you came from and B) the universe you made in a sense.

I think of that cause I don't wanna dissappear cause someone went back in time and killed my parents or something

There are already theories of multiple dimensions and multiple universes explained via string and chaos theorem. Yet the possiblity of finding a dimension or universe that is completely different could be low considering that an alternate dimension or universe may have the single difference being that a leaf fell on the right of that stain instead of the left.
This also creates the theory that there are possible dimensions of things that have been created e.g. a dimension that was created from a book or film, this could mean that our dimension aswell may not be an original but a creation of another society.

Time travel may be possible but the effects on the time line is unknown, many theorists say that time cannot be effected majorly by human interference and others say that the smallest change could disrupt the time line.
