Than either you can't host a server. Or your PC can't handle the client.

Just use the SQL password that was given, when i wrote this tutorial. And you won't have the problem.

Hex editor is not needed unless, you want to change the username and password within the .exe files.
But i recomend you not to do so.

Well, i'm not a huge fan of MsSQL 2008, since i always had the same error as you have, when i used MsSQL 2008.
Try it with MsSQL 2005, never had any problems with that one.
I guess MsSQL 2008 has problems on some OS's

what I did was I deleted all DB's in MSSQL 2008 r2 then I restore it again. for some people just follow tidie10's guide and on the odbc use the Driver for 2008 R2 not and not Sql Server I'm using Win7 32-bit.

Hope some people will solve their problems with this. v^^

If you don't know your Lan or Wan, then why make a server?

To see your wan adress:

You must be registered to see links

Lan ip: Open a CMD prompt;
Type: ipconfig, and everything appears.

Your WAN ip is shown in the cmd, use that instead of LAN and it will work for you

Ugh.. Can't you people look in this topic?!
There have been like 7 people who had the error.. It's either your login tool, or your MySQL databases which don't have the db_rights.
