About Ran Online Releases

Ran Online server files, source releases and client packs shared by RaGEZONE members, covering EP7, EP9, EP4, EP8, EP6, EP11, EP3, EP10, v1 and EP5.

Downloads here range from full Ran Online server file packs with a matching client, through compiled server binaries and database dumps, to complete emulator source you can build yourself. Most releases name the client build the files expect and the database engine they were tested against.

Ran Online private server setup has been documented since 2006 and needs Windows Installer 3.1, .NET Framework and Microsoft SQL Server - 2005 Express in the older guides, MSSQL 2014 Express in later ones - plus RanGame1, GlogicServer and game.exe. Server files and source code are labelled by episode, EP3 through EP11 with EP7 most common, and Episode 6 Season 2. Named sources include GS, Juver, Asura, Neo, Tyranny and BabyRan, older ones tied to Visual Studio 2003/2008 and newer ones rebuilt in VS2022. Tooling covers rancp control panels, GMC editors, emulators, .rcc archives and default.charclass. Setups snag on MD5 versus non-MD5 game.exe, RCC passwords, Hamachi and forwarding every SERVICE_PORT.

Common questions

Where can I download Ran Online server files?
Every thread in this section is a Ran Online release posted by a member, with the files attached or linked. Read the first post for what is included and which client build it targets before downloading anything.
Do these Ran Online files include the source code?
Some do. Releases marked as source, or as a full pack, include server source you can compile yourself. Others are precompiled binaries with a database dump only. The thread title and first post say which.
Which Ran Online builds are covered here?
The releases in this section cover EP7, EP9, EP4, EP8, EP6, EP11, EP3, EP10, v1 and EP5. Older builds stay in the archive rather than being removed, so earlier ones are usually still findable further down.
