If you have a look at the couple of posts above, I already have checked all the msgver's and even tried disabling flyff.a thing but i STILL get that message box upon login. The question is how do i remove/disable that bullcrap (since nothing else I've tried seemed to work)? :?:
 
you're checking the Neuz MSG_VER in the wrong spot
the creator of these source files stopped it from reading from the string table
to change MSG_VER, you have to look in Neuz\NeuzMsgProc.cpp and find where it is

Edit: If you had read through the posts in this thread, you'd already know about this.
 
Ohh right, silly me, thanks (: Though I did look back on the last ~15 pages and couple of first ones but I couldn't spot any solutions to this. Perhaps I just didn't look hard enough :P.

I managed to log in but i got this eFlyff's incomplete char selection screen. But I guess I can fix that in Theme. What concerns me though is that I crash when I either press "new" to create a character and when pressing "next" on the cluster/channel selection screen if i've already got a char on that account (something to do with character models perhaps? idk.). I also (randomly) crash while typing in my ID and password.

Check error log, it's probably a problem with your Spec_Item.txt.
 
Hi guys,
everytime I try to build this source (with the include lib/sdk , added to the Clean Source V15 and read the entire thread to fix the firsts problems), I've got the error LNK2001 unresolved external symbol "public": void __thiscall CndSkillInventory and a few others.

It happend only when I'm trying to build the Neuz

After search all night the error and try some guides about that to fix it, I'm still block with this.

I think it's a missing include files but can't find which one and don't know if it's really that

Can someone had the same problem and fix it ?

Anyway linking errors aren't anything. WS once. If you get it somewhere else than i guess you got something wrong set up.

Neuz leaves no error logs what so ever.
World server leaves some crap upon startup but nothing when i crash.

Are these errors even relevant?
Perhaps there's some sort of client I was supposed to use instead some random one I found...(?)
 
Seems you have alot of models missing, those LANG_ENG just need to changed to LANG_USA in propEvent.inc.

I am also trying to match a client, and also find the model/world folders for this. I managed to fix most errors but Worldserver.exe crash due to something messed up with my resource.

Can anyone point out which resource/client to use as a base for this?
 
I managed to get the "create char" thing to work, and I can see my current characters aswell. It was indeed something to do with the spec item thing, thanks (:

Though when I press accept nothing happens. "Connecting to the game" for ever.

Thank you guys :D

I logged in successfully and had a little time to play around with jobs and some of the other features and I noticed that Templar's skill "Templar's Call" does not work at all. Also, v17 glows don't seem to work either. In fact weapons do not glow at all when upgraded.


Edit: Also I'm experiencing lots of random crashes. Especially when I'm using 3rd job skills.

And Seraph's shield does not work; I get some sort of error in green that I dont understand.

Another Edit: I just crashed 1337 times while trying to do ANYTHING. I have PKd my self (dual client) and now when ever I try to do something, I crash. Whether I'm trying to walk or press I to open up my inventory- I just crash. Mostly when using skills in pvp, althought when I log back in I dont encounter the same crashes caused by the same skill/key again. It's like once I crash because of something it doesn't happen again (untill I restart the server or wait about 5 minutes untill i'll crash again)

The firt time I downloaded this source I compiled and got in game in 15 mins and all was working as they listed in the first post if some things not working it's because your doing it wrong.
