i got stuck here, no problems i just dont get it.

"Than you open the Folder _inc and than you open config.php (with notepad).
Than you will get something like this:

I just cant find the folder...

Hmm, keeping it like it is works just fine for me and my friends =D

Good for you. Though if I wrote a guide there is a reason. If you play from your LAN, that your server is on your LAN and your players are on the internet, you'll need to setup properly lansubmask, else you just couldn't play.

Search for the file config.php with windows explorer. Did you install the CMS?

install?, i just clicked and dragged the rar file... let me install winrar and try that again....

put your database information in it and put it between these ''
so your database should be like this 'roseon' or whatever your database's name is and so on

That you have a syntax error in config.php, line 4. Meaning you didn't enter data correctly.

Ok thanks I finnaly made my own server/tested it it works just fine. But now what do I do for my friends to download and play?

And is this tutorial an online private server?

They download the client.
You port forward your ports:

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

You give them a launcher or a .bat file with your IP:

TRose.exe @TRIGGER_SOFT@ _server your_server_ip

how do i know if i need portfowarding, or is it always Nesesary?

Read the guide... All cases are inside...
If your players are OUTSIDE your private LAN (your server in in YOUR home and so on).
If your players are OUTSIDE and you have a dedicated server.
If your players are inside your house and directly on your LAN.

i really need updated Sql's all the ones given have buggs...i mean the npc shops say to contact a GM when i buy some specific items....

did you copy all your extracted STB, QSD and AIP files into your server 3ddata folder?
getting a trose error at this stage means your server sent a packet that your client can't handle. that usually happens when the STBs don't match

The server files I supply aren't fully updated.
I should add that to the guide how to update but since I'm not at home I can't really...
I will add it to the first post of mine and leave it there till I have finished rewriting the guide.
