I haven't seen Adler act immaturely at all in this thread. Actually, under the circumstances, it's really calm considering everybody is provoking.
What you guys can't handle is the truth and real honesty.

Any mod that is not biased is fine, I really don't care considering the moderation the last couple months has been non-existent.
My personal choice would be Adler and ShadowDragon42 since they are the only mature people around here.

Also, MU section-like release approval please and make people take their website templates where it belongs, in the portfolio.

Hi all,

I've read all posts here and I'm stunned that the only idea to improve the section is to change moderators .

In my opinion there are some things that could be hard to implement but would help the moderators and could change the behaviour of a lot of members. For example there are rules that apply to all sections + there are also rules which every section has. How do you think how many people here have read them before posting. I'm sure it wasn't great amount. Forcing people to read them all before posting for a first time in section could change their minds. The second thing is moderators in Flyff section. I wonder why for several months the only moderator that is active and belongs to this section is Error 404? Also I see that Scratch. Says his opinion here from time to time even if he doesn't mod this section. Additionally some time ago there were 2 mods that I haven't ever seen their post in this section. This one should be changed.

Also forcing users to search if they want to create topic in help section would be great thing but again I know from experience that it's not like 3 mins to make forum work like that...

Next thing is that people should know that their post got deleted/moved and why. In this section is just like 5 ppl start little flamewar( mod thinks it's SOOOO big problem) and 3 hours later I see there are no posts from the one that started war to the end which is a joke because mostly there are important informations about the release or something that may help to decide wheter I should download and try it or not.

At the end I think that rules should be changed. They are too strict if we talk about user's language for example I can't say "sh*t" when something is really so ulow level that it shouldn't be even called as good as that which really makes me angry.... some words should be permitted as long as you do not start to insult other members like "shut up fucking motherf***er".

Same goes to section rules... Why people ask on how to use visual studio in section which was created to develop the game not teach the people how to click compile (b1tch pls). In my opinion this should not be allowed here because as I said the section is not c++ learning but game development.

Get your facts straight before talking about things you don't know. I support you, somewhat, I do. But saying Error404 was a part of a staff to prove your point, without know for sure isn't the way of discussion. Nor is it to say he's taking payment, cause he didn't when he designed my website.

Yes i do know that. That's why i never said you where, i said i get the feeling. Basicly the attitude people may see this as is you being competive.
Being a moderator/staff member also means you have to put aside personal feelings. If you actually would wan't to become a moderator of this section then you wouldn't attack him, you would handle the situation more smoothly in my opinion.

I got no issues with moderators who work with a team. The good ones have a wealth of information to be shared and that is what we look for.

Even than i would consider what Jomex and YyZz tried to tell us. The question is if adding or refreshing staff in here is gonna change the situation. I think it will stay the same community and eventually new mods get lazy aswell and infact you get the same story. Besides that. There are some people who simply see the whole world as an attack. As a game, a game for power.

If i had to advice anyone is would be Misterkid and/or ShadowDragon42. They do seem legit and do this without a hidden agenda. You wanted to know wether i am against you Adler? It's like Error404 told you, that is how i feel. You want power and if you have it you see every suggestion as an attack. Someone removed the last 2 posts somehow but you said it: 'He attacked me first". I was like, allright this is not good. If we needa learn you how to behave and how to actually act mature would only make my conclusion more obvious; you are not the right person for the job, if (like said above) adding new staff would even be the answer.
So no, nothing against you besides my sense of human knowledge.

I think you can never make everyone happy, and flyff sympathizers have a strange but mostly unique behavior. Like how they make war ingame so is it on forums. People cannot get a hold of theirselfs by giving an opinion. Most people cannot even see beyond the point where they are sitting. It's not that ragezone is wrong. No, i believe it's the community wich is wrong. And here comes the painly part, since you can never change anything the flyff section is like a impossible case.

MentaL i will support you if you decide to just stop the flyff section. I have seen (and even felt) so many hate in this section it's understandable that things go wrong.

Again, i do not believe it's a matter of bad moderators, but just that it is almost impossible to moderate at all.

So people we are at a road with 2 ways to go. Either we keep being as highhorsed and flammable to eachother or we make a change and behave more rational. The whole idea that MentaL needs to open a thread for this is a step to far. Shame on everyone.

- Keep the Moderators as they are
- People finally behave for once. Show the other sections that we CAN be polite as in other sections happens.
- Please make MentaL change his mind about this bothering section and make him proud again
- Better rules regarding making threads, and how and where.

As I've said before, I vouch for Adler, and the top reasons I vouch for Adler is because it seems she's always on top of this section, always online, and pretty much a big player in this community. Even if she may post stuff like, "search before you post," on help threads, or may seem like she's "flaming" when she's obviously not, she obviously does it because she knows what she's talking about. You do have to search before you post. It's what you're suppose to do, and even part of the rules, and like I said above, just because she's upholding an argument doesn't mean she's flaming, so stop throwing that word around.

Tbh i can't find someone who use a self defence like that suitable for a moderator.

The mods in this section shouldn't be fired, there should be 1 - 2 new mods. The whole flyff section should be either cleaned or wiped, give everything a fresh start, have people who worked out new tutorials on how to make a private server (clean clients). All sort of client edits should be givin out as a tutorial, nto just copy and paste here, but explination etc on how to do it and so on.
Ive seen tons of people release something and then complain because people only copy n paste it, btu thats all they could do with their releases.
Don't complain about people only copy n pasting if your freakin giving it too them. It's like giving weapons to someone and then complain because they kill people.

MentaL came here asking for our suggestions and opinions. I gave him mine. The reason why i feel this section should be wiped is because people ceep on bringing up old things.
Wiping the forum and select a few people to contribute with all the basic tutorials would basicly bring the section a new life. Atleast that's what i feel.

I can't wait until all of the people in this section, who don't already have a computing job, actually get one. Maybe then they'll see how real development is done, and are able to use it to benefit actual flyff development. Every development thread I've ever seen in this section has been poorly documented and poorly managed. This is a MMORPG development forum, not a MMORPG release forum. The release section needs to be removed, and actual development should be more emphasized. Have a moderator write out a template to start off community projects that includes things like team members, mission statements, gantt charts, network diagrams, use cases. This will not only help projects to be better organized and successful, but it will also help people with starting their professional careers in the development industry.
