Ooopsss... i think last release is a bit buggy
I use release 4552, world db rev220, client 2.4.2 (8278), and have this problem:
when i'm inside a caven, or inside a friendly building, and i try to attack a monster, or chat with a friendly NPC, i drop under land, and i get disconnected very often.
Anybody else with this problem? Any suggestion/clue?
im having a similar problem... When inside a cave/cavern, NPC's take no damage/treat. they just stand their and make 'attack noises', but dont move.
im using your: Ascent 4541 -
Moon++ rev373 - LUA++ 2.3.x rev247 - LASP rev76 on ABD 138.
Things i have tested:
Extracted my own DBC files from WoW EnUs 2.4.0
Removed 'scripts' directory
Removed 'Scripts_bin' directory
Removed 'vmaps' directory
Spawned creeps from 'outdoor' areas, into a cave/cavern - upon spawning, they too are frozen/no damage
Upon closer look, it appears that the NPC is 'ignoring' all attacks and threat....
They auto-regen 100% HP after any damage is taken....
Maybe this bug is caused by a constant "non-combat" state?
UPDATE: I spawned creeps OUTSIDE a cave, and lured them in
As soon as the mini-map icon changed to the new 'indoor' map, they immediately disengaged me, and ran back to their spawn location.
UPDATE2: Checked many caves/indoor areas, they all act the same way, the only exception is inside a house or building (not cave).
UPDATE2: NPC's (that are friendly) (like vendors) do respond, and you can still interact with them. I am certain this is a combat error
Im still looking into it, has anyone solved this yet?
