Please take the time to read the tutorial section Primary Post, watch the Video (you'll need to download it) and pay close attention. As we get tired of answering questions that are already answered...
But if you read through this entire 13 page Post with the Large number of questions that are already answered... This question has been answered 3 times before I quit counting.
Hint: It's got to do with your serverlist.txt file.

For the last time folks. Either take the time to read Henmoro's post, watch the video he posted, and SEARCH the forums that does not mean just Jade Dynasty as Perfect Worlds section is much older / has more information and works on the same "premise" if not the same functionality to the letter in some cases...

I for one am done answering already answered questions, starting today, if you post a question that has been answered, you will know because I wont be replying to the thread. This is just getting too annoying to see people not take a few minutes of their OWN time to OMG SEARCH!!!

VBox, VMware and using a Linux server are all the same deal. Just use the files from the VMware setup in one of the others or translate the VMware to VBox (timely process, doable, and docs are found on google.com).

Just to make the VMware to VBox a bit easier:

VirtualBox can run VMs created by VMware Workstation or Server for this you need to import vmdk files using the following procedure
Start Virtual Box
Goto File > Virtual Disk Manager
Click Add. Locate and select the copied .vmdk file. Click OK.
Create a New VM as usual using the added vmdk file
Boot the VM

Still working on the new client released on the 15th.
Once I have that portion, I'll work on releasing server / client.
After that I'll be happy to re-release PW w/JD

You have to enable it or re-install.
You do not have it enabled on your PC's network interface card.
Look at attached picture of PC's Physical Network Adapter, this is not the VMware's adapter I always leave those disabled.

Cant help you if you don't show your settings. Do Not post your password, but how about:
1. What are you pointing to for a server ip? Is it the server?
2. VBox or VMware?
3. Do you have a firewall turned on?
4. Is your mysql database called zx or are you using mssql wm database?

Give some extra details so we're able to help out.

i'm using vmware, already know my host ip address, using Myql and Sql. turn off firewall still get error
