- Probably for the extra chakra, Danzou doesnt have an ''Uchiha'' body so the Sharingan takes allot of his chakra (example: Kakashi)
- He might have lost his eye back in the days and had it replaced later with Shisui's eye. Same goes for the arm.
About the techniques, I think its a higly skilled techniques use of the Sharingan if the possessor is strong enough for it he can do it. Remeber the Sharingan is VERY powerful.

- I saw it coming. Sasuke is there too, they tricked him, remember Akatsuki wanted to start a war. Kill Sasuke and the war starts. Madara tricked Sasuke right from the start but we'll see what happens.
Don't the 8 inner gates control how much chakra gets distributed through-out the body, if so it'd be equally everywhere therefor there wouldn't be much use for the transplanting of the arm and I don't see how he could have Shisuis chakra just in his arm, if the chakra network did join up between his body and arm it'd spread and not just stay in place. Otherwise it'd mean that his body and arm have seperate chakra networks (sorry if you can't understand me well, I'm tired and really cba to re-word it atm). But like you said he could've just needed the arm because his was lost in combat, same with the eye and when Shisui was dying he could've just seen the oppurtunity to replace both.
As for the techniques, while he may have got the sharingan, I don't see how he got the techniques too unless he transplanted half of Shisuis brain too
. While he could learn to use the same ones over time I don't see how they assumed he had the same techniques. Unless that's why he transplant the arm; to use that jutsu (e.g. The Second Hokage using only one hand sign to use 'Water Dragon jutsu' when other need to do 42 hand signs or something like that).

No I don't think they've tricked him. From the way he disappeared after Sasuke says, 'Are you ready?' I think it's planned. Besides Madara wants to use Sasuke in order to sync with Gedō Mazo, but can't do it yet because he can't manipulate Sasuke as easy as Pain. I know he's already tricked him several times already, for reasons which are unknown (Convincing him that he didn't use the kyuubi to attack Konoha). Akatsuki weren't gathering the tailed beasts for the purpose of war, I know Pain said they planned on using it as a weapon, but Madara said something about using it to revive his Sharingans power (I think?).
I really want a year to go past so I can read moe about all this, it's gotten really interesting lately. Especially to find out the connectons between Danzo and Tobi. Do you think Madara has used his Time/Space abilities to keep himself alive... because despite it being claimed he's "immortal", He does say he can be killed too

'An eye for an eye'. The same goes for his 'moons eye plan'. Itachi must've had some involvement with Shisui/Danzo. I'm assuming that Madara can read minds too from various things he's said in past chapters.
