DoS doesnt make you better then everyone else. Makes you selfish that you can't take another server taking the glory.

As of right not, gtop100.com is frozen in the stats.
People atm are number 5 and that will stay that way until gtop finsihes the solution.
Anyone who tries to DoS the servers that are 1-10, FAIL, cause those are the good servers.
Can't take the heat, and wanna hack a server? Go shoot yourself. Don't take it out on other servers that wanna bring joy to other people such as Demon, TeaIX, Clockwars, Musara, or any server that wants you help improve their server for the players, not compatition. If you disagree with this, GTFO, cause this is all 100% TRUE! Still wanna hack servers? Go shoot yourself, then you can try. This is a development section, NOT a hackers world. Hackers don't belong here. Leakers dont belong here. Wannabes, and developers belong here.

Down with hackers that can't take the heat.

I can't even begin to express the irony since the top 5 servers staff and even leaders all hack and ddos all the up and coming servers, and that is publicly known

it's sad they those who are at the top need to play dirty just to keep their spots

Yeah but you forget to mention that the number one server actually is able to do stuff with the official files. Not just run them. I've read Deadly's Development log in there server and he's doing some pro stuff. So in my opinion they can do whatever they want with any other server that's running the officials. It's sad because alot of the people who play private servers look for higher rates not the uniqueness of the server. So if that's what it takes to keep the player count up :P. And you know the little emulator servers there are just open for beta testing and stuff and aren't worried much about hackers.
 
Hopefully the community will turn into the opposite. All emulators instead, and no official files. No hackers and DoS'ers too would be nice as well, but i only moderate ragezone, not the entire FlyFF community in the world.

There is no pride in using something that is stolen. Whether the top server uses it or a server that no one uses it. It just does not make sense to use something like Official files, even if they ARE superior, they were attained using illegal ways and that pretty much shows a lot.
 
Yeah, but Deadly's got his ass covered. If gala-net cared they'd probably be the only working server on gtop. And like I said he's doing amazing things. Not just making custom glows and maps and all that ****.
 
What we honestly need is our own forum where we can set all the rules and permissions.

RaGEZONE while being convenient, isn't the best for a community so fragile as ours.

Simply a private forum where only trusted people can join. Simply to regulate anyone not wanted. Such as those who wish to do nothing but DoS and hack each other. While yes some are good at what they do but it's their attitudes that are killing the private server scene.

That way, it keeps out the german pserver scene who seem to be the main offenders to the stealing of credits. And any random person that just thinks they can roll up and take something.

We already tried that once, it didn't work out too well. It's not only this forum, it's the whole Flyff Private server community that's in cause. This includes this forum, the gerfags, the brfags, etcetcetc. I don't know what this game has but it attracts a large quantity of trolls to this scene. Earlier this evening, while I was testing out Dell and Rena on the MSN chat through trolling, I only did so because I know what this community is all about. Trolling & script-kiddies. That's for the most part, ofcourse. There's still a good part of the community left out here, scattered and annoyed by all the confusion caused by the referred groups. I don't have anything against the new moderation, just to start this senttence, I respect the higher-ups and their decisions and thus, I respect the moderators. But that doesn't mean I'm going to agree with all their decisions. I'm a free man and I have the liberty of expressing my opinion, which is what a forum is all about. I tried to tell the history of this section to Dell earlier, yet he didn't let me, so I'll continue it here. We started out this section with two sets of files: the leaked Caali files and Kiki's source. What did the community choose? the leaked files. Only a handfull of people decided to start gathering packets from the leaked files to build their own sources so they could modify and make it better than the files. A few projects lived on, which I won't be naming now, but they all ended up.. dieing, specially with the release of the Official files. With this release, people thought "Oh this is Official files, I don't have to do anything else to it! If people enjoy eFlyff they'll enjoy my server too!!!".. and that's what hundreds of people thought. Results are everywhere (Check every top 100 flyff list). There are, ofcourse, a few servers that are far ahead of the rest, with modifications made through ASM capabitilies and hard work. And why isn't this shared with the rest of us? Well, it was already more than proven that this community didn't deserve having things handed for nothing. Developers started developing in private or just stopped doing it, the so called "leechers" took over the forums, people started stealing each other's stuff because they were soo hungry for it that they lost their sense of imagination, DDoS threats were flying around the forums because X called Y a mofo and Y got offended so he raged.. Seriously. It's been.. almost 2 years since this was created. I've been here since Caali first made his thread on the Server Extra Files section and I followed it everyday, expecting new screenshots from him.. I was so excited my favorite game was getting a private server! If I only knew what it would turn into.. I'm sad.
Kudos boys, best of luck moderators and sorry for being too hard on you.
 
Masius, i respect that you TEST us, but you don't need to do it through such cruel ways. Flame war is NOT the answer. Me and Rena have been brainstorming idea's on how to solve the problems for the section. Hence, why i posted this supposedly "Spam notice". Maybe instead of testing us, and instead of fighting/spamming/trolling, We all could help discuss ways to help bring the community back up.

Just my opinion though, since 5 brains are better than 2.

I've been considering doing this for several days now however need some time to make sure it's handled in an appropriate manner so that it doesn't have any possible conflict with ragezones rules and policy, I have a good idea though so will be working on that in th morning

and @ Masius everyone time you try to describe the history of the section, it boiled down the the past sucks, so what else is new?

some of us prefer to walk forward instead of lagging behind in the past, so what the past of the section sucks? all the more reason to walk forward.

carry your lessons learned with you and walk forward, you get no where sitting still, and grow farther from your destination by walking towards the past.

sorry if that didn't make much sense ;/

4. We want to make it a database only website, meaning projects are like SVN's in it. Where only people who have specific encrypted passwords may access the files. AKA only devs,
