can some one help me??
im cant connect to SQL Server

TITLE: Connect to Server

Cannot connect to -xxxxxxxx--PC

------------------------------

A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 2)

click start then select run,,, then type "services.msc" no quotes... the service manager should appear, then look for the sql service and start it

and if the problem still exist. why not go to Start > Programs > Microsoft SQL Server 2005 > Cofiguration Tools > SQL Server Surface Area Configuration ~than click " Surface Area Configuration for Services & Connections " then expand SQL EXPRESS > expand Database Engine ~and click " Remote Connections " then click " Local and remote connection " and enable the required fields ~then click apply

you will be ask'in for restart process then click " Service " just above on " Remote Connections " hit the " Stop " button then after a few seconds press the " Start " button again

and your done~
