i made te server everything worked so fasr but when i made a char and start leveling it and log out and come back its level 1 again and visitor
i did /save and /save Henri /saveall

all didn't work

in ur navicat, right click on ur rose database then execute batch files. choose skills_data -_-:frusty:

-_- put ur password from the mysql set up in ur navicat -_-

for example

MySQL set up:
username: root
password: password (that is if u did put a password)

Navicat:
username: root
password: password <--- (example only)

must be the same -_-

just put in ur .conf files the ip 127.0.0.1 then ur good to go -__-

for those looking for the osrose.svn file

it is not included in akai's file -_-

For those who is looking for osrose svn.sql, don't bother asking. It's already in your server files.
From Revision 72 onwards added easy to use installer/updater by author evill33t.
That file is called "database_installer".

If i do step 1 i get this;

It looks like you have yet to install your MySQL servers.
For those who can't connect with Navicat, make sure you install MySQL first.
To connect with Navicat, make sure your username and password is the same as
when you install your MySQL server.

Wrong place, you should put your config in between ' '.
ie: rosecms['host'] = 'localhost' ; // Database localhost <---not here

Database edit.

In the Database folder of your server files, you need to edit the "database_installer".
To edit, right click and 'edit'. You see this in a notepad.

REM ############################################
REM MYSQL BIN PATH
set mysqlBinPath=[COLOR=red]C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\bin[/COLOR]

Change the path('mysqlBinPath') to your MySQL folder.

and when i try to login it says incorrect password

Hi, i installed navi, and i do "try connect "

And it says " 1045 -Acces denied for user "root"@localhost. Using password : NO

Guyz my navicat still can't connect

I have filled in this

Connection name : localhost
Host name/IP adress: localhost
port :3306
username : root
Password : (Nothing)

Its keep saying

2003 - Can't connect to MySQL server on 'LocalHost' (10061)

Help me and others whit this problem pleas

Dumb question.. If I wanted to buy a server online and try to put rose on it would it be hard to do? This guide seems to be only if you wanna put it on your computer and run it.

I wanted to put it on a much faster server so alot of people can join with no lag or problems.

Where is the normal good DB?? I'm back from long break but what I see now sucks... there are even no items in the item DB!!
